Worship

Worship is where your relationship with God begins. Personal worship goes beyond attending a Sunday service, or participating in worship through music.

It is a lifestyle that is practiced each and every day. Psalm 103:1-4

PRAYER

It is God’s plan for the church to corporately pray together. When the church was in its very infancy, they made a priority of giving themselves to prayer. For the early church prayer was not an afterthought or a formal way to start and end a meeting. Prayer was not just an “add on” to the real work of the apostles. Corporate prayer was essential then, and it must be for us now.

LBC makes corporate prayer a priority. You will find a group of committed believers joining together to show their dependence on the Lord and bring their petitions before Him in corporate prayer.

We would love for you to join us.

At LBC, we desire our music ministry to be God-centered, doctrinally informed, reverential, heartfelt, and joyful-with everything being done with the purpose of edification and the glory of God.

The presentation of music in our worship services is always about ministry, leading people to actively engage in worshipping God, and not to simply sit through a performance. The purpose of singing at LBC is to focus attention on God and raise affection for God.

We want to exalt the name of Christ and be a spiritual encouragement to the body of Christ through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs according to Ephesians 5:19-20 and Colossians 3:16.

GIVING

Giving is an act of worship and an expression of our gratitude and faith in God. We believe giving should be done with a joyful heart and should be a first priority for believers. At LBC, we teach tithing, giving 10% of one’s gross income, is the biblical standard and starting point for giving. We also encourage our members to be involved financially in global missions, local community outreach, and other various projects through the ministry of LBC. It has always been God’s desire to finance the ministry of His church through the giving of His people. Through the generous giving of God’s people, we are able to pursue the mission of the church.
